“Lord, what fools these mortals be!” Lords, ladies, and magical fairies please join OLFC for the most glamourous and enchanted night in Oklahoma City at this year’s A Midsummer Night's Dream Gala. Summer is a time of giddy celebration signifying new beginnings, abundance, and beauty. Wander dreamily with old friends, and new, amid a backdrop of exotic animals at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Encounter the realm of magic as you are transported to the beautiful forests of Fairyland - where all are footloose and fancy free. Mix it up with the forest fairies in this raucous romp featuring carnivalesque and strange delights to intrigue your senses including a silent auction, live raffle, exciting interactive happenings, and more! Our Host Committee chaired by OLFC Board Treasurer Mary Blankenship Pointer invite guests to:

Meet Your Chef For The Night

Starting at a young age, Gabriel Lewis began cooking and understanding the art of food. He spent his free time throughout the course of his teenage years in the kitchen, learning from his mother Lisa, Aunt Gertrude and Grandmother Valerie cooking different proteins and testing different flavor combinations. His hard work paid off when he earned his place in the top seven of the hit T.V show MasterChef. Under the guidance of the judges, Aaron Sanchez, Christina Tosi and Gordon Ramsay, his cooking flourished. He earned a culinary arts opportunity paid for by Gordon Ramsay and currently operates as a private chef under his own Chef Gabe LLC, winning Best Chef 2019 in his hometown of OKC while traveling the country
cooking for clients such as Ring Doorbell founder Jamie Siminoff, Philadelphia Eagles star Lane Johnson, the Oklahoma City Thunders own Aaron Wiggins, Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone and many others. In 2022, Gabe was featured in a national commercial for Ring with Celebrity Chef Cat Cora as well as another season of the culinary hit MasterChef. He currently crafts food content with his photographer sister showcasing how easy it can be to step in the kitchen and make something delicious while preparing to release his first cookbook.

Introducing our MC of the night:
Brent Skarky is a long-time media personality and communications professional in Oklahoma, working in local TV News/Sports at KOCO, KFOR and KOKH and hosting a state-wide daily travel and culture show for the Chickasaw Nation on Cox Cable. Skarky is currently the Senior Vice President of Communications at the State Chamber of Commerce. Brent is a proud Bishop McGuinness High School and Syracuse University graduate. He loves giving back to his community be volunteering his time with numerous non-profits.
