OFF to a Fresh Start is a community-centered program for families navigating Trial Reunification or Pre-Adoptive Placement—and continuing to build stability, connection, and confidence in their new chapter.

Each month, we host enrichment activities that give children joyful, healing experiences—and offer families a chance to connect, breathe, and feel supported.

Whether you join us once or keep coming back, you're always welcome here. We’re building a community that celebrates progress, strengthens relationships, and walks alongside families beyond the courtroom.

When you're focused on court dates, case plans, and requirements, it’s easy to lose sight of the little moments that bring joy, connection, and healing.

OFF to a Fresh Start offers space for families to reconnect—without pressure, paperwork, or expectations.

You don’t have to do everything alone—and you don’t have to wait for everything to be “perfect” to enjoy time together.

It’s a reminder that this chapter matters too. Families deserve to be celebrated, supported, and surrounded by community as they build toward lasting stability and stronger relationships.

JOYFUL EXPERIENCES create LASTING IMPACT

OFF to a Fresh Start gives children space to laugh, explore, and just be kids—no courtrooms, no case plans, just joy.

Each month, we offer free enrichment activities designed to support emotional healing, creativity, and connection, such as:

  • Cooking alongside local chefs
  • Art nights with hands-on projects
  • Family yoga and movement
  • Music-making and rhythm-based play
  • STEM-inspired discovery activities
  • Cultural and seasonal celebrations

These events help children rebuild confidence, strengthen relationships, and create positive memories with the people they’re growing with—whether that’s a parent, grandparent, or foster-to-adopt caregiver.

We also offer optional supports for caregivers, because when families feel strong, kids thrive.
